THIS WARNING GOES OUT TO EVERYONE! beware annabel the br... chest-kicker! oh how traumatised i am! it all happened last night. we were working (ok fine, gossiping) latelatelate into the night... i was lying on the bed with the blanket over me and bel was sitting all comfy in the chair when suddenly (so sudden it took me by surprise) i felt this warm sensation near my br...chest-area. i was shocked. i didn't know how to react. so, instictively, i looked down. it was a foot. not just any foot. the foot came from... and there was bel (sitting all comfy on the chair) smiling down at me in a lewd way. HOW COULD YOU BEL! HOW COULD YOU?! well actually it was partly my fault. i should have been more alert. i should have seen that little bump under the blanket slithering closer and closer towards me. i should've seen the signs. the way she's always talking about br...chests. the way she always blushes when she's lying on a certain someone's br...chest. it was my fault. i should've enquired and nipped the problem in the bud. but now... now.. she's turned into annabel the br...chest-kicker! then when she was trying to blackmail me into swapping jobs with her (i was initially narrating and she typing), and i refused, she.. she threatened to... to... KICK MY BR...CHEST! annabel u are a sick, sick girl. but i just wanted u to know that no matter what i'll try to help you overcome this disease. u've always got all your friends supporting you and helping you through this difficult period in your life ok? don't be too concerned about it though. i think it's just a passing phase. i HOPE it's just a passing phase.

yeah bel came over to stay last night. my two older brothers and i had just got back from batam (no tsunami there) but the rest of my family was returning the next day so we had practically the whole house to ourselves. bel's parents were out of town and i was afraid of sleeping alone in the dark with the ghosts lurking in every corner. so she came over. we were supposed to be working on our RS trip's itinerary proposal. note: there's a reason why supposed is in italics. go figure. but what did we do? WHAT DID WE DO? i'm truly, utterly, disgustedly disappointed with our behaviour. first we had dinner. so far so good. then we watched phuachukang and living with lydia. can't fault us lah... must support local television right. then we... then we... ARGH. we went out with my aunt and corcor to WATCH A MOVIE. can u believe that. we were supposed to complete our proposal before doing anything frivolous! and the thing is... we didn't even feel the least bit guilty about watching a movie (a COMEDY at that) when we were supposed to be... slogging our guts out. AHHH! but at least we got the work done. yeah. at 3:00. AM. or was it 3:30? BUT WE GOT THE JOB DONE. (bel kept inching towards my side of the bed at night. hmm i wonder if it is related to her aforementioned br...chest-kicking habits).

(for old times sake! she claims). shall not post the results here since it's her private life. so obviously she soon got tired of it (there are only so many combinations two names can churn out u see). so she decided to start giving me prospective husbands despite my desperate attempts at dissuading her from doing so as it was a total and absolute waste of time. well, u see, my grandma, whom i like to think is a supernatural being, had put a curse on me long time ago never to find a husband. don't get me wrong. she's not wicked by nature. it's just that my brother and i scared the heck outta her one night when we were trying on the new scary masks we just got. so she says that i'm too unladylike to find a husband. ever. that's quite scary but then again if all the guys in the world are like my brothers i would willingly remain a spinster for the rest of my life. so anyway back to the love calculator. so nicole was helping me find prospective husbands. but it was totally insane because i don't think clayaiken even knows that i exist. or sylvestersim for that matter. me, being the independent woman i am, decided to take matters into my own hands and do a check on my future husband. myself. it's not that i don't trust nicole but she did crush rlaw. anyway here are the results:

THE THAI REFEREE WHO UMPIRED THE MATCH TODAY IS A QUACK! i mean look at him! he did not have any control over the bloody match whatsoever lah! the myanmar team were wicked cheating vicious rough crazy gangsters! they should be banned! when that myanmar player trampled on the singaporean player's legs, and i mean TRAMPLED, INTENTIONALLY some more, he escaped without even a freaking yellow card. what injustice! (but sharil ishak scored from the subsequent freekick! yeah! take that u rough cheating myanmar-player-bugger!) but the referee should be shot. then, a little later on, another myanmar player, in a desperate attempt to get the ball whacked subramani's legs. FROM BEHIND. it was plain vicious. evil at its purest. and what happened? yellow card. the referee was blind! the kick was so freaking dangerous! and it was an attack FROM BEHIND some more. it definitely, undoubtedly, sure-as-the-sun-would-rise-dly warranted a red card. and those were only the two of the more significant foul-ey events! so although singapore beat them 4-3 today, the players return home with broken bones, bruises and injuries galore. thanks to the violent and evil myanmar team (especially number6. u watch out. subramani will hantam u in the next match. our ground. our territory) and, more importantly, Mr Referee. on a lighter note i think that singapore is playing gorgeous, wonderful, flowing football now! it's so exciting to see such talents in our own nation! most of the singaporean players who were underperforming earlier on did marvellous jobs today. especially our nigerian babies itimidickson and AGUcasmir! with his hair so fine. the defense was slightly shoggy though. ah well nevermind. GO AGU!

just realised i haven't felt hungry even once this entire week... been stuffed with turkey, ham, bread pudding [which we tried to make and semi screwed up] chocolates blablabla... gonna die when school starts and when training starts...

"do you want your hair to be LONGer and STRRRRONGer? well, for long and strong hair, use new organics looong and strong!" saleswomen are really cool. they give the same word different intonations to manipulate you into thinking that there's so much the product can do! in case you were wondering, yes, my mum bought it. and in case you were still wondering, my hair looks the same length as yesterday. and it still breaks when my brother yanks it. but the shampoo has ginseng extracts! like how cool is that.

ruoqi and bel came at 9 today to do. yes resh, u guessed it right. RS! =) we caused a huge mess in the kitchen trying to make orange juice slurpy. oh and in case u're starting to wonder again, it had nothing to do with RS. we just felt like "taking a breather" from projectwork. (yah right. we hadn't even started on anything) then after a few hours (ok fine one hour) of intense discussion we decided that our brains would be more analytical and active after a warm-up cycling exercise at the beach. needless to say we never got round to returning to our work. (don't say anything about that to ruoqi! she'll start moo-ing in frustration again right ruoqi?) hey at least we did work distribution. that's super constructive you see. anyway we walked to the beach. and rented bikes. and we got these cute little basket thingeys to put our stuff in. we felt exactly like mary poppins! so there we were happily cycling along when this figure came zooming by in the opposite direction. the mysterious cycler suddenly cut into our lane... HUITING! we were shocked. she was laughing. well actually it wasn't really a shock since i asked her along but still it was a shock because she turned up at the most unexpected moment. know wad i mean? so it was a kinda shock that left us shocked for quite awhile even though it wasn't suposed to be that shocking. yah. i know it sounds rather complex but once you grasp the concept of emotions it'll be very easy to understand. so we cycled to the jetty. and said hi to some fishermen. ruoqi wanted to pitch at the jetty because she was amazed at how big it was. we tried to lure out our big fish but it just wouldn't come. so, dejected, we cycled back to the macs area. OH! tingzie is WONDERFUL! she can cycle without hands! she's just so marvellous oh gawd! i was left biting the dust in awe! oh yah! i fell down on my bike! and then this ah pek and his ah huei girlfriend kept staring at me with mock and amusement in their eyes. i was so embarrassed! but it wasn't really my fault! bel was the first to go down! so i turned around to see wad happened then i suddenly swerved into the sandy part next to the pavement and lost control of the bike! but anyway that couple were mean. i hate them. huiting says they kept staring and laughing at me dammit. then we bought slurpy. the real stuff! not that slushy thing of a failure we tried to concoct this morning. oh it's heavenly. first you drain out the liquid by twisting the handle ever so softly (learnt that from ting!) then you fill three-fifth of the cup with green apple and then the rest of the cup belongs to the coke slurpy. but DON'T mix it! you have to eat it slowly with the spoon end of the straw that has a normal end and an end that looks like a spoon. we came crashing down to earth when the sun came out. SO WE JUMPED INTO THE SEA!!!! i'm telling you the feeling was indescribable. i could've just drifted in the water forever. but i couldn't. coz we had to pull ruoqi in. we had so much fun. so much. but it would've been even more complete if resh was there too. like last year. at first huiting didn't wanna come in but after she saw wad she was missing out on, even she couldn't resist. but she's a scaredycat. she squealed coz the water was too cold. ear piercing i tell you. ruoqi was wading away happily in the water. bel tingz and me were sitting in the shallow part watching her. suddenly this HUMUNGOUS wave rose above her. we SCREAMED i tell you. we SCREAMED. and squealed for ruoqi to get away. she was TERRIFIED. HAHA. it was so picturesque!!! this huge wave rising behind ruoqi, threatening to engulf her, and ruoqi's face twisted in a mixture of fear and anxiety! it was SUPER FUNNY. so although she did get engulfed by the wave, bel and i were too busy laughing away. it was really hilarious i tell you. REALLY hilarious. comedy at it's best. haha. then ruoqi got grumpy and decided to go sit at the rocks to dry off. boy. did she look like a wistful artist pinning for a loved one. i wish i had taken a picture of her. she looked so calm... so thoughtful... so un-ruoqi. then huiting and bel decided to bury me in the sand. they kept kicking sand onto my neck, which made me ticklish, which made me have spasms, which made the three of them very angry because they were trying their best but i kept ruining their work. then bel decided to give me two... nevermind. so anyway we never did get round to fully burying me becuse i'm just sucha difficult person to bury! so we trudged into the sea to wash off. i took off my... nevermind. then huiting went home to eat her wantonmee. so lucky. i wanna eat wantonmee. but fret not! we had komala's! NOW LISTEN UP! if not u'll really regret it. komala's has REAL GOOD food. REALLY GOOD. actually the bhattura is the only thing that's REALLY GOOD. but it's worth it. to go all the way to komala's just to eat the bhattura. so go try it people! the accompanying curry (chick-pea curry, not chicken curry ruoqi! and YES there IS a difference!) complements it PERFECTLY. so anyway we sat in komala's for a loooong looooong time savouring our bhattura (trying to make every bite count). and we, naturally, talked. it was a great talk. but we shall skip that part coz you really wouldn't like to know wad we talked about. really. but anyhow, it was a great talk. full of shrewd analytical thinking. really. so after lunch we went back to my house. they bathed (ok fine, "rinsed off the sediments") and went home.

oh yah! which reminds me. training yesterday totally rocked! it was our last training. our last training as sec 3s.... but enough of the nostalgia already. anyway, as i said before, training rocked! it was so fun teasing chris-tin about the little scandal involving my brother when they were five... "chris-tinnn... chris-tinnnn... tat's all i ask of youuuuu." and bel and i made up a little song for mr freeman because he's leaving us. pity we din get to sing it to him because he wasn't there. but it was a touching (?? i can already see ruoqi rolling her eyes) little song nonetheless. and! and! AND!!!! we had SLIDING! yipeeayeaye! coach created a mini water park for us! I LOVE BEING WET! we had so much fun we never wanted to stop. obviously we had to. but it was really SO FUN! pure innocent childish fun! jinghan is damn cute when she slides! no, wait. when she tries to slide but ends up flat on her bottom. but she got real good at it! long live princess jing of the han dynasty! chris-tin... what can i say man... pro slider! her slides are simply beautiful. liping! little ping! my xiao (little) catcher! u should see her when she slides man! so dainty! so genteeeel. complete with pretty little girlie hands flailing in the air! ruoqi's sliding is pro too! i've never ever seen her move so fast in her life! instead of running (tottering in her case), she should slide bases man! u go girl! haha yunyi was the WORST man! haha! she's too scared to go down! so she always ends up sprawling across the canvas instead of sliding along it! she's really funny man! then she'll get up with this pretty pout on her face and complain that she can't slide! haha. then we'll show her the movements again and she'll listen oh-so-attentively, with her face scrunched up in concentration, and, with determination and grit reflected in her eyes, she'll go again at full speed... determined to make a good slide... and when it comes to the water part she'll suddenly slow down and "bommm!" down she goes again. haha. gawd i love yunyi! but she refused to give up and finally, at her last individual slide, she.... SLID! wooots! we were all cheering and whooping away for her! all the way huaiyun! unfortunately, all good things must come to an end. so ruoqi bel angeeeela and i sat at the steps reminiscing about the good ol' times (don't we always haha) while our slacks dripped away in the sun. then bel and i went to subway for lunch while ruoqi and gee went to kfc because they had a sudden craving for bandito pocket. and we didn't. haha. bel and i have found our new favourite lunchtime gossip topic! throws! it's so amazing how many different ways there are to throw.. and how to improve your throw blahblahblah! i tell u we're really softball-mad now. all we ever talk about is softballsoftballsoftballersandsoftball! then we met cheryl and dawn on the way home so i took the mrt with them. and we talked about... yes, you guessed right. softball!!!! =)
