HAPPY BIRTHDAY GLORIA!
eh you better feel honoured that i put that in pink ok. and u better savour it too. only get this opportunity to have your name in pink once a year in my blog. anyway thanks for being a retarded loserish high-pitched can't-sing-to-save-your life 'smoochiepooch'. haha though we've had a few rough patches in our relationship, who the hell remembers them anymore right. all i can remmeber is how we're such dangerous lab partners, you taking every opportunity to use the bunsen burner to burn my hair, you looking absolutely stupid moving 'back and forth, back and forth' on your chair just coz the bio lady instructed so but ending up crackig the watchglass anyway. you setting the wastepaper basket on fire while i'm away talking to nicole and then trying to BLOW IT OUT (but in the end dumping it intot he sink HAHA). you burning your own hair. you writing "a*v*n" on the small glass sheets and sticking them onto my face... actually it's just YOU. anyhow i've enjoyed my times spent with you although sometime u threaten to shatter my eardrums by, yes, singing. or rather, talking. and even though u tie up my hair into stupid braids during physics and threaten not to be my friend if i take them off, forcing me to hide them udner my collar, forcing mrs teo to scold me for not wearing my uniform properly, forcing me to tell her that u won't be my friend if i untie my hair, forcing her to give you that strange look, i still think u're a cool dude. and thanks for the party! it was fun! really... especially playing sissy my baby with quek jing chuwen sandra vicky and the other guys. although the guys really have no hand-eye coordination and vicky always loses coz she always laughs. oh and bombing them with the water balloons was fun too. oh and double wacko was crazy too! especially with quek calling "boon" even though she doesn't know who the heck boon is and calling marie "maria" in that maid way. HAHA. it really rocked. =) so stay idiotic and funky yeah? (on second thought, don't. please. we need to pass through sec4 safely without anymore mishaps.)
BLOODY HELL EVERYONE BETTER GO WATCH HOTEL RWANDA NOW. like RIGHT NOW. i'm serious. for the first time in my 8days-reading-career, i have found fault with it. this is ridiculous. how can hotel rwanda only garner TWO FREAKING MISERABLE STARS?! and what's that crap about "amateur acting"?! that lousy reviewer can go stick elektra up his ***. now let me tell you why u should go watch hotel rwanda.
1) the tissue paper industry is not doing very well. and you need at least two boxes of kleenex per woman when you watch this. (men a.k.a. less sensitive creatures only require half a box)
2) if you thought that tsunami was bad, the civil war between the hutu rwandans and the tutsi rwandans resulted in over a million deaths. and the world didn't even care because they were blacks. (so much for world peace huh?)
3) don cheadle. he's one hell of an actor. paul rusesabagina, the guy he acted as in the show, is the husband every woman dreams of. smart, successful, compassionate, witty, loving, brave, righteous... and the list goes on. and doncheadle, who always plays that typical loudmouthed american 'gangsta' actually went to africa to study the way the africans speak for his role in the show. gawd i love him.
4) sophie okonedo (who acted as tatiana rusesabagina, paul's wife) nick nolte (MY MUM'S FAVOURITE! who acted as colonel oliver. he volunteered to play this role in such a small-budget movie although he usually gets those high paying jobs) joaquin phoenix (who acted as jack the reporter. he's one of my favourite actors. anyon who watched the village would be in love with him too)... coz they're GREAT actors dammit.
5) this is actually a TRUE story of a TRULY courageous man who dared to fight against overwhelming odds.
6) i don't usually go gaga over movies. but i did over this one =)
7) if you have an ounce of humanity in you, you would go watch it
8) it's time we watched something worth our money.
9) really.
i mean the director cut down on the gore to get a PG rating but the horrors of seeing the dead bodies strewn across the streets, and people of the same race killing each other (it's just like teochews and cantonese fighting against each other just coz they're of different dialect) is enough to make me sick. it's just so wonderful how this high flying guy paul rusesabagina goes out of his way to help the tutsis even though he's a hutu. and it's great that someone came and made a movie out of him because it would be such a waste to let his legacy fade away in the anals of BBC. aiyah i think i'm crapping. point is, GO WATCH HOTEL RWANDA.
i sprained my ankle for the thousand and fity seventh time during training on thursday. actually my ankle was only the size of a tennis ball when i twisted it doing that bunny hop thing. but the self proclaimed sinseh, miss chow, started pummeling it and rubbing it and banging it here and there until it burgeoned to the size of a softball. but i appreciate her good intentions haha. so they didn't let me do anything during training. and since i didn't get to train, i did the next bes thing. irritate the hell out of the rest. haha. the main recipients of my irritation were bel and resh. =) if you look really closely, i bet you could spot a bald patch in bel's head where she was tearing hair out from. and resh's hair does look visibly shorter too doesn't it? so they retorted with a veryVERY sick joke which i can't say here. but... naughtyNAUGHTY bel. (br...chest-kicker part 2?) on friday we played a scrimmage against the juniors. SIGH. we were bashed like grapes in a shredding machine. huh?! ahwell u get the point. the worst part is, we have no excuse for our lousy playing and non-existent team spirit. ohwell i still love my teammates anyhow. they're the bestest team anyone could ever wish for and i'm sure we'll pick ourselves up and emerge stronger than ever. if anything it's coz coach believes in us. and we believe in ouselves. so my babies don't be discouraged and continue playing hard yeah? on a lighter note, i felt that ruoqi's pitching was wonderful. the strikes came in fast and hard. thanks for always keeping cool even though we let u down time and again. and thanks for being that calming presence whenever i'm feeling frustrated. and angela's pitching rocked too. in the two innings she pitched, i don't think we let in any runs. we might have let in one, maybe, but that's about it. WELL DONE GEE-STRING! and... RESH IS THE BESTEST FIRSTBASER IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD. i'm so proud of her i tell you! she alwyas strives to better herself and all her hard work has visibly paid off. she stops balls like... like no one can. and she stretches and jumps and bends inside out to get that wild throw and never fails to catch it... and her batting is helluva good too. YOU GO RESHIEPIE! and our juniors played very well too, they deserved hte win as much as we... didn't deserve it. they didn't let the fact that we're seniors intimidate them and played with hearts of lions. welldone dudies! anyway. this was a lousy week. it was so unfufilling. the softballers DIDN'T GO OUT FOR LUNCH EVEN ONCE. dammit i miss them.

haha this morning i was pissing pow off by going "i have non-monday yellows!" and going a bit ballistic during pe and i was thinking wow today's not a monday it's gonna be a great day! little did i know that today was one of the suckiest &%^&#$%#%$^ day since school started!!!
lessons were boring as usual. what's new? but it was training that made it suck so bad. not that i don't like training but it was the training that i was looking forward to all weekend! the training that i was thinking about during class all day. all that could appear in my mind was "yay i'm gonna get a chance to bat the ball later. i wanna contact it i want it to fly i wanna whack tk until it hits their centre brain =P" but just when it got to my chance to bat... i really don't know what came over me man. toss after toss, swing after swing. it was either a miss or some lousy pok fly nearer than infield. and the worst thing was i let it get to me. guess i was too worked up and stressed abt everything. because i want to be good in all the things that i do and maybe tts too ambitious. it's like
studies- i wanna be conscientious and finish all my work early. i wanna keep up with my super smart classmates who ace all their tests and get super high GPAs at the end of the year. i wanna go for all these attachments and extra stuff so that it'll look good on my resume. i wanna make our rs project so impressive that we.. [okay maybe i shouldn't say it here].
softball- i wanna be the best player that i can be so that i can contribute as much to the team as possible... so that we can win that gold this coming may. that gold that we have all been dreaming of since the day we sat down at taka drinking bubble tea and crying over our loss to ftp. that gold that we swore we would take after so narrowly losing it to tk in the finals. that gold that is sitting smugly in tk's general office right now... the gold that we can't leave rgs without. i wanna hit homeruns when i'm in the batter's box. i wanna catch all the balls that they bat to me. i wanna make a double play with jem. i wanna cut the ball from outfield and throw it home and get the runner out. i want our team to win... i don't think i've wanted anything this badly before.
God- i wanna be close to Him all the time. i know that in order to do all these things i need Him. right now i can't even get a single damn thing right but i know that all things are possible with God. yet at night when i take out my bible to do my quiet time, or when i get down to pray to Him.. all the fatigue and sleepyness and piggyness just takes over and before i know it i'm asleep before i even start reading the bible. after spending half the day in school sitting through [or rather sleeping through] lesson after lesson, then another half a day on the field, then at night do homework homework and more homework, there's hardly even time left for God. and in church we learnt that faith + grace = salvation + good works. all we need to have is faith. yet today when everything went downhill... i just couldn't pick myself up. i just couldn't bring myself to just BELIEVE.
there are so many things that i want to do, to have, to achieve. i don't know what's wrong maybe i want it too much maybe i'm just not doing it right... oh and it really doesn't help that that time of the month is approaching too >.< sigh today was just so bad la.
oh and to my dearest teammates who are all so retarded but whom i love so dearly: i'm so sorry for my attitude today. i shouldn't have let all that rubbish fielding and batting get to me.. guess my mind was also kinda worked up abt all the homework i'd have to do after i got home, how late i'd be sleeping, how my throws are starting to feel weird, blabla... and after my horribly shittified batting i think that was the last straw. sigh i'm really sorry man. but thanks for all the encouragement... don't know what i'd have done without you guys. I LOVE YOU!!! :)

(warning: depressing content. if in a good mood, skip this paragraph) some memorial mass. where are all the catholics in singapore man?! the pathetic attendance in church today for the solidarity mass in memory of the victims of the tsunami really shocked me. it's not as if our congregation is small or anything. it's quite big for a catholic church actually. but where was everyone man? just because it's not the obligatory saturday or sunday mass. just because it's not a celebratory occassion. so it's okay to selfishly carry out your daily routine, without sparing an hour to attend mass and immerse yourself in thinking about all the unfortunate victims who need our prayers urgently? it's so sad. this predicament catholicism in singapore is in. we used to be such a boisterous, active community. now, all anyone ever thinks about is himself. is it so hard to skip one episode of a chinese serial to come and pray? is it so hard to postpone a date to join the church and raise our voices for the victims as one family? it is during times like this that we should come together and help the needy people. poor, starving, orphaned, dying, homeless victims of one of the biggest natural catastrophes we've ever faced. over 150,000 of them. but few have stepped forward to offer their help. and it's always the same few. what are the rest? passive churchgoers? people who come to church for the wrong reasons? have i mentioned that i feel utter disgust at people who come to church for the wrong reasons? well i do. i really do. i hate it that they show disrespect for my god, the almighty one, by coming to church dressed like... that. i hate it that they do not lift even a finger to contribute to our community, our society, in any way for fear of chipping a perfectly manicured nail. i hate the way they preach and quote from the bible without understanding the scriptures at all. without grasping that simple concept ever-present in the bible of serving god with all that we are. i hate it all. and i hate the fact that the people in church can declare themselves god's people when, in moments like these, they can't even lift up their hearts to the lord by serving his other children. and most of all, i hate the fact that my family is growing to become more and more like that. my mum and dad work late into night packing boxes of medicine and typing out lists for the missionaries to bring to disaster areas after a taxing day at the clinic. but me, i fall asleep at the computer when i'm supposed to be helping them check the lists of medication. mummy packs the boxes of medicine from her clinic alone. all 75 of them. and when she asks my second brother for help to move the heavy boxes, he gets too caught up playing one of his mindless computer games and forgets, leaving mum to do it all by herself. dad has to call pharmacies, liase with contacts in the tsunami-struck areas and prepare trip details for the missionary nuns going there. and he has to return home to screaming, fighting children, adding to his workload. today only me and my 6th brother attended the mass. i feel so ashamed. my mum had to cook dinner for my corcor's birthday, but i mean she could've left it to the maids. ohwell i guess she wanted to make his birthday dinner perfect. my second corcor, as usual, too bloody self-preoccupied to even notice that there is actually a world outside all his cs, gunbound, frivolous computer games. corcor went back to rj for... dunno what. but what could've been more important than praying?! my 7th and 8th brother were not allowed to go for fear that they would get restless and start making noise. but what really really made me cry was the incident after mass. my dad came to join us during mass, late, because he had to fetch my sis, my 4th brother and corcor from school(s). mass ended about half an hour later. when we got intot he car i was surprised to see the three of them stoning there when they could've come in to offer their prayers to the lord too. but maybe they were tired. then, my 4th brother (who had just returned from camp) said something that made me want to slap him. "wad's your problem man. if u want to come for some useless service then can't you go home yourself? why must daddy come too?!" i didn't say anything. i couldn't say anything. i just wanted to slap him so hard that some braincells would be knocked into that airhead of his. luckily my corcor and sister aren't like that. and during the car ride home, he kept "tsk-ing" and shifting around in his seat as though he was so tired and irritated that he had to wait for us. it's so painful to see your own sibling acting like that. the hurt i felt at his total lack of humanity was so... excruciating. god, what has happened to all of us man. i really really wanna help. but what can i do man. besides packing medicine into boxes and typing out checklists (which i can't even do without falling asleep). damn this is depressing.
SO PEOPLE PLEASE OFFER YOUR HELP. THE VICTIMS REALLY REALLY NEED IT. AND PRAY THAT THE LORD PROTECTS THEM TOO.
happy birthday to my corcor! he turned (sweet?) nineteen today. he should be at army shouldn't he?! but too bad for him his time only starts in april (due to some medical condition or sth). i bought him a nice red shirt from topman thanks to bel and her resourcefulness. good job bel! but anyhow,he's a great corcor. and a funny one too. and although he seems like a daokia, he's actually a really nice, retarded, little gay loser. and i love him for that. i hope he has a great 19th year ahead of him =)
we, the softballers, had lunch at FIVE today? (oh, which reminds me... WELCOME TO THE FAMILY KAHWEI! WE REALLY LOVE YOU KAHWEI!) we trained by ourselves today. actually we wanted to pitch under coach's supervision but he came even later than the rj team so we decided to do our own stuff first. ruoqi i'm telling you the non-windmill is better than the windmill! c'mon! faster and more accurate lorh! we met up with the seniors who had come back to train with the rj team. it was great seeing them again. especially fadzie and... TINGZIE. gawd i haven't spoken to her in like.. how long man! but glad to say, she still has that streak of retardation in her. however, today was not about them. it's about us. our batch. we had such an unbelievably wonderful time today! discussing the potential softball videos/movies. HAHA. it all started in assembly when miss ko was talking about our class videos. obviously my mind drifted to the softballers. so right after assembly i found xianhui and we started discussing the probabilities of a softball video tribute (yah right. a tribute to ourselves haha) and we bumped into ruoqi and jem (who were in an intense discussion) along the way. they were discussing making a softball video too! (surprise surprise? nah.) so during RS ruoqi and i told bel all about the great plan. resh and gee joined us coz miss tong wasn't around yet. ruoqi, obviously, wanted a softball movie where we act as the characters from harry potter. and she, obviously, wanted to be ron. not that she has thhe hugest of crushes on him. but i had a different plan. notice how the other non-softball sec 4s always comment on how ruoqi bel and i look alike? well.. we could be fluffy the three headed dog! and resh, if u untie her plait, has the burgeoning hair of hermoine granger. xianhui would definitely be cho chang (for duh reasons) and angela be ginny (for equally duh reasons). puffy, with her blurness would be the perfect ronweasley and emerald... HAHA... nevillelongbottom. jem (for some strange reasoning by ruoqi) is slated to be filch (haha dun kill me jem it was ruoqi's idea) and kahwei with that oh-so-mischievous grin of hers would be peeves the troublesome ghost. harrypotter, then, is obviously ellenkan. and she is harrypotter, personified. but we had so much fun discussing retarded things during RS. we really did. ohmygoodness i never laugh so much with anyone else but the softballers. i absolutely adore them man! absolutely!
so we had training before RJ came to take over our field. we were all slightly off today. must be the one-o-clock heat right? (yeah blame it all on the weather) we were so engaged in our training that none of us realised that it was four already. and we hadn't had lunch yet! so we quickly polished off the last few pitches and got ready to leave. but u know us. "eh let's go!" "yah ok wait arh. change first." after another five minutes... "wahlao i'm damn hungry lah!" "me too!" "okok coming. needa fill my water bottle." wait another five minutes... "OI! GO NOW LAH!" "yahyah let's go! oh no! let me put my shoebag in the cupboard" after YET ANOTHER five minutes... "eh c'mon man. want to go or not?" "FASTER LAH U GUYS" "okay! i'm ready! shit my boots are still on".... and blahblahblah. so by the time we reached subway (with a vehemently objecting angela) it was already close to five. at first it was pretty quiet and polite. yah. if u can believe it man. but u know... softballers can't stay quiet for long. we were soon working those jaw muscles again after the eternally conversation-sparking "erm... can we talk about softball please?" request. we talked and talked.. and never stopped. lunch was a blast. everyone was cracking jokes like nobody's business and laughing at the most unfunny of jokes (courtesy of r***ongkahwei). haha we forced jem to do her walrus cry (or was it supposed to be a laugh?) and the laughter that exploded from us in the aftermath almost caused the fire alarm to sound. it started when bel and i decided to start comparing whose mouth is bigger. again. (i won hands.. erm.. mouths.. down bytheway) but the looks on our faces was totally retarded. resh said that my mouth took up half my face. and ruoqi tried to fit the cup into my mouth. so we burst out laughing. again. kahwei tried to make me mute my 'psychotic' laughter by putting the paper cup over my mouth. stulugupiligid giligirl! it amplified the sound. making me sound like an asthmatic hippopotamus. that was when we coerced jem into doing her walrus cry. i tell u it was so funny i laughed until my ribcage cracked. especially in the quiet suburbs of subway. ruoqi laughed so hard that the piece of ice in her mouth dropped out. which caused reshvinder to laugh so hard that she banged her whole head/hands damn hard on the table. which caused the piece of ice that dropped out of ruoqi's mouth onto the table to fly to the table next to ours. needless to say, we evacuated soon after that. up till now, i dunno if the beng in the table next to us realised that there was an ice cube melting away slowly and dissolving that expensive gel in his spiked hair. i think subway can expect a few days of no-show from us. starting now. but anyway, to summarize, lunch was reallyreally stupendouslyridiculously hilarious and i'm totally in love with my crazy teammates! i am i am!
ohwell many other funny things happened today but i think that this entry is long enough. flag day with my softballies tomorrow! no, technically, today!!!!!! YAY! i LOVE spending time with them man. they rock my world. and i know that i'll never be alone. because this great buncha sisters will always love each other. always. damn. my dedications. NEXT ENTRY I REALLY PROMISE.
a very, very happy deb =)
p.s. I LOVE THE SEC 4 RG SOFTBALLERS! have i said that before?

school is so stressful and life is so busy but don't ask me why i'm wasting so much time blogging (not tt it's really a waste of time but it's kind of like a semi-waste of time if yknow what i mean) and baking gingerbreadmen that don't even turn out to be like men and get stuck to the damn plate!
i refuse to blog abt imcb so i shall just start off with training... it was pretty okay and the weather was nice and cooling so no more sun to add to my goldenbrown tan (yes i INSIST that it's golden brown and not mat or chindian or milo or whatever shit you call it) (and no it's not shit either) but coach had only hit one fly ball to me before it started pouring... so we went off to the exercise corner for the first time of our lives in rgs. or maybe first time in MY life in rgs. and tts where i realised i can't even do more than one pull-up without trying to stretch and lengthen my neck to as far as possible and scrunching my face up in all sorts of weird ways to try and get my head above the pole... sigh. Dear God, please give me strength.
yeah and lunch later was great as well... talked so much crap and we're all such softball maniacs! we keep talking abt softball 24/7 so we actually ran out of softball topics to talk abt.. haha we've almost reached the standard of the ri sec 4s! urm well standard as in softball-maniacness of course... not the sport itself >.< i HAVE to stop walking past haagen daaz ice cream parlours and stopping and walking in and buying cones of strawberry cheesecake ice-cream! it just tastes so heavenly but so sinful. sigh.
so yeah this morning struggled and forced myself out of bed to go to my neighbour's house (mingwei the stingray!) to bake gingerbreadmen. oh and seema the prima(donna) came too! seema's not a prima donna i'm just trying to rhyme. yeah and we were supposed to add molasses but since stingray didnt have molasses and her honey had lime juice in it for some weird reason, we decided to add chocolate syrup instead :) so it was like 1 whole cup of chocolate syrup plus all the other spices and stuff... the batter turned out pretty good but when it came to the actual baking.. let's just say it was more like making black coloured ornaments.
so actually we made all these nicely shaped gingerbreadmen and seema made all lil spiral thingy and we were all so pleased with ourselves when suddenly the wonderful aroma of baking gingerbreadmen suddenly turned into horrible whiffs of burnt gingerbreadmen. at that moment of realisation, our world came crashing down as we realised that the fruit of our sweat and toil had amounted to nothing (well actually more like men-shaped charcoal). so stingray quickly rushed over to the smoking oven and opened it and tadaa! the entire oven caught fire! then we started screaming and panicking and we wanted to like drown the oven before mingwei finally had the sense to close the oven door so that there would not be any oxygen to keep the fire burning. haha. talk abt daughters of a better age... i feel so ashamed.
then we took out the bits of urm "charcoal" and it actually looked quite cool! so then we went back to shaping more cookies and i actually made some nice pig-shaped cookies and seema made a nice lil cow and we put coffee chocolate beans on the gingerbeadmen! so everything looked so nice and pretty until we stuck them in the microwave... the entire plate was just filled with the mess of cookie dough thingy so our poor lil pigs and cows and men were all gone :( OH and the worst thing is we forgot to grease the plate which we put into the microwave! so when i went to church i had to muster all the strength i could to FORCE the cookies off the plate for them to eat it >.<
haha stingray maybe next time we should try it at my house perhaps it'll work out better eh? and besides, this was just an e-x-p-e-r-i-m-e-n-t haha yah right just trying to comfort myself. but at least we had ben&jerry's chocolate chip cookie dough ice cream for breakfast so it was all worth it :) argh my scrapbook is staring back at me with the iceberg-that-sunk-the-titanic look so i'd better get back to it.

BEL! YOU ARE THE BR...CHEST-KICKER! I'M SO NOT A BR...CHEST-PUSHER-FORWARD MAN! and even if i was, why would i want to choose YOUR feet? so hairy, so smelly. therefore, i'm definitely not a br...chest-pusher-forward. so there.
school's ok. actually school's not really that ok. but don't feel like elaborating. first week of school and already there's so much drama. thank god for the softballers. my sisters. my life. i love you guys like hell man! the bond we share is just so insane. we're so bloody close now that we want to do every freaking thing together! twin (ruoqi) can't wait to get out of class coz there's softball. xh and i turn to nod the do-together-ok nod everytime there's an activity (even though we're 3 classes apart!). and she always has this urge to kiss me right toe. gee will sms during class to request for a softballer lunch. twin bel and i will start yakking away (and laughing like cows) about softball the second tong is out of earshot during RS. and resh... i'm with her like almost every minute of the day when we're not having lessons (i guess everyone has gotten used to me bursting into her's room during class intervals and vice-versa). and our bus rides home are just filled with pure, mindless crap (somehow that doesn't sound as impressive as it should be). but the whole point is... you guys are so special to me and i dunno what i'd do without you so THANK YOU!
monday- talking and talking and talking with yvonne and christine so don't really remember what happened during school. went out for lunch with resh yvonne gloria christine chuwen yilin they all. resh and i tried to be nuisances by preaching about the joys of training coz chuwen and yvonne were contemplating not going for netball while christine and michelle were in a to-go-for-track-or-not-to-go dilemma. well it worked and it didn't work. then had to follow resh to bibi and baba to buy uniform for her brother. the things younger sisters do for their brothers man!
tuesday- nothing much happened either. except that angela found out she'd be stuck with me during chinese haha. we were discussing throws during lesson and ended up injuring some people (sorry sabrina!). RS was a hoot! we were crapping like nobody's business! my my, miss tong is quite the gossiper isn't she! obviously bel twin and i started talking about our usual topics (the dead ball... throws... the 'heng' match... blahblahblah) the moment tong turned her back. training was rocking! it was so fun prancing around on the field again! (although most of us ended up with back-aches, knee-aches, re-sprained-ankles and other injuries the next day due to the still-unevenness of the field. but it was worth it!)
wednesday- ROCKING! it was sucha great wonderful happy day! because we had lunch together! at subway (despite angela's repeated groans and attempts to make us feel guilty. but admit it man! the meatball sandwich was gorgeous!) resh twin xianhuilim angela and i. it was amazing man. we just sat there and talked. for almost 3 hours. ALMOST. how we made our meal last that long, i dunno. but the subway people sure were glad to get rid of us. too bad for them. we were so engrossed in our gossiping that resh postponed her tuition and even angela and ruoqi (who were groaning away at first about going home to do RS) were chatting away happily. we talked about the usual stuff (need i mention?), the non-usual stuff (nc-16. cannot say here) and the neither-usual-nor-non-usual stuff (jerseys to prom anyone?). xh and i didn't wanna leave (i mean how often do we actuallly get to sit down and have a nice chit-chat? like once, twice a week only!) but gee was turning so purple from all that complaining that we HAD to give in. parting was so bittersweet! dammit i sound like we are in love. but we really love each other so much! sisters forever!
thursday- training was good (as usual). although coach was abit moody at the dismal attendance at first, he was back to his normal self by mid-training. he told me something about someone which made me very happy indeed. coach is cool man. and so is ruoqi. her pitching was bewitching. (haha ok i just tried to make that rhyme) but really... it was so so so zai (or PRO/KOOL in the words of someone close to her)! welcome back ruoqi my twin terror! you rock my socks. mizuno socks some more. watch out you! whoever you are. coz ruoqi's in the house! ok fine i shall stop sounding so obsessed with her. but she really is good. we went home after training and rushed RS. we completed quite abit! not bad man.. not bad at all.
friday- was supposed to go watch phantom with twin resh chuwen and quek. but since we had to wait for her majesty of delayedness- ruoqi- we missed an earlier show and the next one was at 3:45. forget it man. so we just sat there at lido and ate. i was like craving for popcorn so i ate popcorn for lunch. sweet and salty mixed (because a sweet one should be eaten before salty one to prove how much better the salty one is). quek had popcorn chicken! so matching right! popcorn-popcorn chicken. ok not so. but who cares. anyway, having popcorn for lunch is pure bliss! especially when complemented by a one-man comic show (think tanruoqi). but she's horrible! she ate up all the rest of my salty popcorn when i wasn't looking! and she even had the cheek to admit that she shook and dug the whole carton dry of the salty ones. i was devastated! salty popcorn is my life. the sweet ones can go to hell (or in this case, the tummies of resh and yvonne) for all i care! but my agony soon faded away because we saw something rather scandalous. and ruoqi and i actually... ah forget it. we acted like goons haha. right ruoqi? i guess we just don't think on the same wavelength. took 14 home with resh and a victorious yvonne after that. oh! quek and i witnessed something damn gross in the bus! definitely nc-16 (which resh insists i'm not mature enough or eligible to watch) material.
what a long entry! and i haven't done my dedications yet. next one i promise!
my 7th brother is damn funny. he makes all these wisecracks and funnily-cheem-in-a-wrong-way comments. and he's only pri3! gawd he never fails to liven up my day. i love him!

haven't been to school for the past two days... not going tmr either. cos theres this bio attachment thingy at the institute of molecular and cellular biology... but the only good thing abt it is the 2 hour lunch break! when we get to go to holland v and eat at crystal jade and look at cute floppy-eared rabbits :)
but cos you have to wear rubber gloves all day long and at the end of the day you have to wash your hands at the sink at the side, theres this weird soap thingy and the combination of that soap smell plus the rubber glove smell combines to make your hands smell of ******s!!!
and. the people in that place never fail to make me feel dumb.. okay fine i admit i am, but still the feeling is so demoralising... they talk as if i'm not fit to be there learning how to conduct those experiments. and because i'm so scared of them i never fail to embarrass myself in front of them! shan't elaborate on that though.
actually i'd much rather be in school cos it's so meaningless going there and doing experiments for 5 mins then wait for 2 hours for the thing to incubate... at least in school we can watch miss ning cut up jellies and apples for physics demos and eat them afterwards :) i don't really mind our teachers this year actually esp those who followed us up like ms carmen hoo and ms may tan! but of course there are exceptions.. >.<
i realised that the only time that i ever do blog is when i'm supposed to be doing my chinese scrapbook... no wonder it's not even half done yet sigh :( but from this second on, i will be disciplined. i will not go on msn or blog or blog-surf or play com games before i finish my work.
yah right.

please la deb! i'm not even a man! there's nothing to admit! it was definitely you who suddenly shifted your whole br...chest forward okay! because my foot was already stretched out to the maximum and it wasn't touching/kicking anything! then only when you suddenly urm propelled forward then the inevitable happened!
it definitely wasn't intentional on my part k but for you... hmm maybe you like the feel of my foot? i dunno man... but the moral of the story is: look before you go forward. therefore i'm not a br...chest kicking pervert. thats FINAL.
and yeah man school sucks! it's the first week of school and the atmosphere's so stressful already... there's already like tons of homework and rs and goodness knows what... sigh. i feel like i'm still living in the past like i'm still on holiday.
i can't believe i'm sec 4 too man! i keep writing down 313 everywhere. yknow when you go from sec 2 to sec 3 it just feels so natural and COOL like WOW i'm SEC 3! i'm senior and old but not THAT old yknow what i mean. but when you're finally sec 4 it's like eww so old and jaded and suddenly everything turns tense and everyone becomes mugger... bleaurgh can't get used to it.
deb! why do you always blog so long? i can nv blog that long! i always run out of things to say! but then again maybe it's just cos i talk substance =P
okay fine just kidding.
i'm trying to paragraph more so that it will look longer.
argh nvm it's not working shall go to sleep now.. missing school for the next three days :) byebye world. (as if the whole world reads our blog right deb)
just read sth somewhere.
it got me thinking.
sometimes i wish all these had never happened.
everyone had a part to play in this.
it was nobody's fault... really.
i wish everyone could just forget everything
and be happy again once more.
isit possible?
nah, don't think so.

BEL YOU ARE A BR...CHEST-KICKING PERVERT AND YOU KNOW IT! SO BE MAN ENOUGH TO ADMIT IT! it's not that i wanna publicly humiliate u man... but i'm CONCERNED! know wad i mean? i know it takes alot of courage to come forward and announce your unnatural habits but if you really wanna kick it (the habit! not the br...chests) then you have to admit it so we can help you!
gender equality is SO not present in my male-dominated house. my parents didn't let me go for the myanmar-spore match because they were afraid that my brothers might get into a brawl and i'd get involved, because i "can't take care of myself". please lah! if i can watch nc16 movies this year i bloody well can "Take care of myself" at a stupid football match. besides, i've watche denough chinese serials to know that everytime brothers get into fights, the most practical thing to do is runaway and leave them to their own fate. i'm not that dumb u know. anyway TAKE THAT MYANMAR! bloodydirtycheatinglosers! they should be banned man! i really feel sorry for number7 though. although he has a cocky face that just oozes overconfidence. but he's so good, so skillful, so dirty, just to be let down by his even dirtier and disgraceful teammates. it's not fair! my brothers were telling me about all the behind-the-scenes action! i wish i was there! so fun! fights everywhere! goreng pisangs being flung to and fro. sigh i wish i was there.
wow it's 2005 already! i'm sec 4 man! how cool is that! nicole and i have come up with a new "cool" greeting. first u scrunch up ur fist into a ball. then u and another friend punch fists. then u bang shoulders against each other and go "Yeah man"! that is DAMN COOL right! oooh i feel the vibes of being sec 4 already! first day of school was uber boring. and i do not use adjectives unneccessarily. which means it was really UBER boring. BUT! i got to see my class again! everyone's still the same! everyone's still rawking =) i reallyreally missed them man! my-wombly-ass-partner nicole, the one and only QUEKKIE, pre-tarded christie-poo, tara and her slacker jacket, lois and her daokia face, sulking elvina, prancing poonie, my wei yi de weiyi, gorilla jing resh(wait. i see her almost everyday of my life darn it) chuwen meiting sinyee charissa jiahui huishan... EVERYONE lah. 406 rocks like hell. and we got DOCTORchrisslatter as our form teacher this year (that's cool) jamesong as our vice-form-teacher (that's cool too). we got michaelhalsall though. eeeeenough said. AND NO COLMANCHUA. not that i crush him or anything. or that i think he looks devastatingly hot in his mustard button down shirt and slicked hair. no. it's not that. but all in all. i hated going back to school. the worst part was that everything seemed so.. normal. waking up so early in the morn. gloria's whiny voice yakking away about all her misadventures. bursting into resh's class every chance we get. bumping into ruoqi at every corner of the school and talking about softball (and RS). going out for lunch then hanging out with resh after. everything seems so NORMAL! grrr dammit. i hate school. it's the first day and i can't wait for the end of the year already.
anyway i forgot about my dedications!!! sorry! i'll do it in the next post i promise!
deB=)

First and foremost, I would like to bring your attention to this matter of supreme and utmost importance. This matter has been tremendously disturbing and exceedingly unjust to the defendant as she has suffered serious defamation from the prosecution.
okay wait forget that. basically what i'm trying to say is...
I AM NOT A BR... CHEST KICKER OR A PERVERT OR A HORNY GIRL OR WHATEVER OTHER ADJECTIVES THAT CAN MATCH THOSE LISTED ABOVE.
and before you can say it, i'm not a combination of the abovementioned either.
now on to reflections on the year 2004 and goals for 2005... i dunno it just seems obligatory for me to blog abt such stuff... it's just so bloggy yknow what i mean.
hmm this year has been a superb year in certain areas of my life, yet it was probably one of the worst in other areas. in class well i guess i got to mix with some good company [well duh my class is like the most muggerish class in sec3 rgs 2004] so some of their muggerishness kind of rubbed off on me and helped me to pull up my once-disgusting-and-still-quite-disgusting grades a little. spiritually i must confess that i'd been pretty much lukewarm for a great part of the year. i kept telling myself "yeah okay annabel you must pray before all three meals, pray before you sleep" blabla but when i actually prayed i couldn't feel the presence of God... and i wasn't hungry for his presence either. but thankfully i learnt to rely on God throughout the horribly painful exam period and i must say that He has really blessed me abundantly and pulled me through that ordeal... so thank you God :) camp was another wonderful experience. guess this year wasn't really that much of a blast like sec 2 was, but it was definitely more rewarding spiritually, as it helped me to mature so much more. well the rest is kind of private so yeah i shall stop rambling here.
sigh school is starting tmr and here i am blogging... guess my parents' absence is good in a sense cos i get more freedom, but there's no one to like control me and chain me up and force me to do my holiday homework... if they were here, my scrapbook would probably have been all nicely done up before new year's eve. sigh.
there is the knowledge of inward desire and there is a tinkling of an outward desire. yet there is also the knowledge of responsiblity, and responsibility does not permit desire. however, the desire overrides both knowledge and responsibility... and that is what renders me helpless.
