angela u KNOW better than to bet on my pride!
before chinese lesson with the liwei the great...
me: guess wad. i forgot to wear socks today. seriously i forgot. and NO i didn't get booked hah!
gee: -snorting with laughter- you WAD?! haha. EH! i have a pair of mizuno socks in my locker! i DARE u to wear that. not folded down. [background info: mizuno socks are up to our knees. ok fine. reshvinder's ankles, angela's thighs, but my knees]
me: huh u DARE me arh? like really DARE me?
gee: yah i DARE u! i'll give u 2 bucks!
me: 2 bucks?!! i'm selling my dignity for two bucks? i'll only do it if u dare me on my pride! [logic being: i'll lose any ounce of pride in me if i do carry out the dare. but i'll regain my dignity because by daring on my pride, i'm gaining my pride back by actually carrying out the dare. gettit?!]
gee:ok i dare u on your pride PLUS 2 bucks!
me: oh darn MUST you?
gee: yes i MUST.
me: ok fine.
seriously, i did go down to the canteen with kneelength socks. and the softballers absolutely REFUSED to buy me lunch so i had to go queue up myself. in case u were wondering how absolutely humiliated i felt, all i can say is, i felt like a ruoqi. but i've grown quite attached to wearing high socks it was so liberating! (anyone wanna dare me for high belt and buttoned up collar next week?) like i'm no longer part of the trend. and that's cool. just like the sex video the school showed during CLE. "just because everyone else does it doesn't mean u have to. it's cool to go against the trend." i couldn't agree more. always remember, kids: say no to drugs. say no to casual sex. say no to liwei. (although the last criteria would be a tad hard for chris-tin to fulfil considering she's fond of leering chinamen.)
just in case u didn't know. we got opss and tk. alright stop glaring at me xianhui. feeling apprehensive when facing a challenge is a normal thing. not like i'm overwhelmed with trepidation or something right. right?
the past week was undoubtedly tiring. sleepless would be an appropriate way to describe it. i know rgs wants us to remain celibate until after marriage, but MUST she resort to underhand means like loading us with homework, performance tasks, trainings, competitions and RS presentations just so that we remain out of bed until the most ungodly of hours? just so that we'll be too tired to even think of doing anything remotely sexual in our beds? not that we do. i mean i advocate for people to save their virginity until after marriage, but by overworking us to make sure we're dead beat at the end of the day (not like there's an end. the cycle goes on and on...), i daresay the school is pushing the say-no-to-sex message too far! at this rate, we'll be dead even before we get married.
we're being pushed to the limit! school's killing us! somebody's gotta speak up against the totally unorganized, positively torturous and absolutely directionless RP. when we finish one PT, another one comes the next day. not to mention the upcmong EOIs and stuff. PLUS our competitions, which, contrary to the school's belief, actually takes up alot of energy and effort. they want us to be great in studies, great in our CCAs. but we don't win just by a snap of deborahtan's fingers lah. we need to TRAIN lah. and training IS tiring lah. especially since we have to give our all LAH. i'm sick of being tired! someone's gotta speak up before we all die. i shall speak up! i shall fight for our sanity! i shall... OH SHIT. GOTTA GO DO RS AND CHEM PT NOW. BYE!!!!!
