deb... BLOG! it's supposed to be a DUAL BLOGGING PARTNERSHIP k... father's day is long over! and it's been THREE weeks since resh ruoqi jem and karwei came back from france/uk... so BLOGGGGGG!
anyway this week has been one hell of a hectic week, and today has been another hell of a wasted day. have spent the past 22 hours drifting in and out of sleep. think i will only fully recover from the effects of sleeping for about two hours in two days after a week. oh man i'm feeling sleepy already. haha.
school was really bad yesterday cos i just couldn't take it anymore. during the last block of math i started getting a bit possessed. we were supposed to be doing integration but i would like hold my pen, write a few numbers and fall asleep in that posture. then slowly i would start nodding off, then wake up again to try and scribble a few more numbers. problem was i think i actually DREAMT stuff while i was dozing off, so in my semi-conscious, trying-to-write-stuff-to-seem-like-i'm-doing-work state, i actually wrote really weird words like "firehouse you" and "what make you think.." like huh?!?! whoa super scary.
but still... yesterday was an incredibly happy day! because it marked the end of performance tasks!!! woohoo! or rather. the end of stay-up-till-3am-to-do-cos-i-couldn't-bear-to-start-during-the-holidays performance tasks... there is still that idiotic talk about dunno what in chinese hcl pt >.< so yeah anyway we were all really happy and it called for a celebration! so nat sarah wanjie and i decided to go and watch...
batman. yes this is how sad we are. we are only watching batman now because the rest of the time we have been either slogging away at pts are sitting in front of the com trying to start on our pts but end up surfing and chatting. and guess what's even sadder?
i FELL ASLEEP. while watching batman. i even dozed off during the exciting parts when batman was rescuing the city of (isit gotham?) from (what's-his-name?)! argh. it's not that batman was lousy or anything. the exciting parts looked really exciting to me even through my half-open eyes, and i must say christian bale did quite a marvellous job of playing batman. but i was just too damn tired. a word of advice - never watch a movie, no matter how exciting it is, if you have slept less than 3 hours in 2 days.
but on a happier note, nat and i finally tried our belgium chocolate ice blended from coffee bean! it's such a sinful decadent indulgence, but definitely worth it :) and the triple layer cheesecake (each layer is made of a different type of cheese!) looks soooooo good. okay shuddup bel. i can see deb flooding her bedroom with gluttony drool. hahahaha.
it's really early but my lovely soft comfy bed beckons, and my sleepy tired overworked body complies. goodnight :)
