wahh everybody blogging about retreat so i must be a conformist and blog about it too... well retreat was GREEEEEEAAATTTTT!!! :) although i prefer sentosa as a location, God was a lot more real during this retreat... it all started off with denise and i fasting and praying throughout lunch... it was a new experience. and it was awesome. to be filled not by food but by God's spirit... simply indescribable. God also revealed so much more during this retreat than any other, namely Shashi's new vision for XTs, Gladwin's instructional on Paul, and the footwashing.
games.. hmm night games was torturous because shumei and i were chained together at the ankles for almost the whole time. so if we didnt move our connected feet together the chains would practically gnash at our ankles and it's darn bloody painful. and of all locks the wrist locks which weren't painful had to come off first! all of them! hmph. first kathi's and mine dropped off, then the subsequent THREE which we unlocked were all wrist ones... such luck. blehh. anyway youth games followed and i must say it was rather fun... hilarious to watch everyone crawling around with a cucumber in their mouth fighting over an old brown potato. the guys all seriously looked like bulls in a bullfight. especially the one with the dyed hair. heehee ;)
the wasabi on a banana thing was quite cool too... we thought that the banana would help them to get rid of the wasabi fire... but everyone at that station still turned into rudolphs in a matter of seconds. haha =D and of course there was the cricket lollipop. lol vyan and isaac licking the lollipop at the same time... shan't forget that ;) at least the cricket tasted like chicken eh?
and there was some oMiGoDzZz/oMiGoDiEzZz/oMiGoShiEeEzZz craze? all isaac's and clarissa's fault. heerh.
